Positive Vibes only

How lockdown has enlightened me to stay positive, no matter what the situation is?
 Read up, if interested.

March 9, 2020 was the last day i went to office. On the same night, my kid ended up having 102 degrees fever. Myself and Kiran were planning for her upcoming FIRST birthday on March 17, 2020 with lots of love and enthusiasm. And out of nowhere comes Covid-19 which hits hard on everyone right from affecting routine to impeding fear.   Confusions on whether this is air-borne, or its mortality rate or the way its spreads becoming one of pandemic, am sure its difficult times. Am sure life wont be normal even after this vanishes so is after Tsumani. And things never happened as planned, that's what LIFE does to you, right!

There are so many things am grateful for which i had taken for granted earlier.
Listing them up :

1. My both families ( parents and in-laws ) help us to raise our kid.
With both working from home, and no maid, my parents and in-laws have helped immensely to take care of my beautiful daughter. Without them, i would have become zombie with darker dark circles or fighting with husband to sticking up a routine on taking care of kid or yelling constantly to do household chores or burning out for work pressure. Am glad i have a family that supports us.

2. I  still have a job and can meet the needs of the family.
I scroll down lot of linkedIn posts about layoffs due to pandemic and its so heart breaking and worrisome. Am so glad i have job which still pays. Am glad i can support my family even at such crisis without thinking about getting exposed or stay at home starving.

3. Quoting a popular phrase, Health is wealth.
Am so grateful for the healthy life i could lead.  From managing kid, household chores to work, new mommies ( new daddies too :) ) go through a lot. It becomes extremely important to keep physical and mental health intact. Am so glad that i have support system which keeps my sanity intact.

4. My near and dear ones are healthy.
Imagine the stress or pain to lose your dear ones for this pandemic. Its breaks heart, it breaks your sanity, it breaks you into pieces that you cannot recover from. Life will never be the same, again. By god's grace, am glad there are healthy and safe. My prayers to keep them healthy and happy.

5. Fear is good.
Though you think, the world is lot of more creepier that what you saw as a kid, it has bought people together. It has instilled and awakened humanity and gratitude like never before.

6. The Art of Gratitude.
Am so glad, i have the attitude of helping as much as i can to those affected by pandemic and so blessed that i can indeed help. Realizing the worth of what you own and sharing it has not only made you a better person but also has helped the world to recover from the pandemic ( though its 0.000000000001% )

7. Working parents and kids.
It is not easy to maintain one year old and work, though i have support system, kid would still want parents to play, to be fed, to sing lullabies. Enjoy this lot of time with kid, try and manage as much as you can.  It is okay even if you sleep an hour or 2 less. Work on your patience, it's time to apply the things you read about Time management. Good thing is Kid gets lots of your time, you actually can enjoy by seeing your kid grow.

Hope you enjoyed reading this :) Stay Home, Stay Safe :)
